Proposals for the first ORCD Strategic Seed Fund solicitation are due February 28th. The seed fund is planned to be a twice yearly solicitation that supports domain research. Awardees also helps ORCD develop its MIT wide computing platform by providing proactive feedback on ORCD environments and by collaborating with ORCD staff on refinements to the environment. Anybody holding PI status at MIT is eligible to apply.
The Spring 2025 seed fund cycle is focused on groups with near to completion applied AI/ML research that are looking for a modest amount of financial support and enhanced access to GPU resources. If that sounds like you, then please consider applying.
