In order to upgrade power infrastructure, the MGHPPC will need to reduce power consumption by 30% to some regions of the data center for the week of May 11-16, 2026. This upgrade will allow us to support more capacity in the future.
We are planning to take some of the nodes in one of our rows offline for up to a week to meet the reduced power capacity goal. These include nodes in both MIT-wide and and group owned partitions. If you have run any jobs on any of these nodes in these partitions in the last few months you will have gotten an email with more information.
